Hello all!
Over the last two days together, our group of authors have explored the Edgar Allan Poe House and Independence Hall. We've created some bone chilling two-sentence scary stories inspired by Poe and considered how the history of Independence Hall's spaces can inspire micro-moment stories. Micro moments are a perspective or instant in a larger narrative that can be 'exploded' into a story of its own. The various people and events at Independence Hall since its construction, both common stories and under told histories, are the perfect starting point for this type of writing.
Starting today, we are diving into posting on the blog, so a few of our authors will be sharing their stories this evening. They may be pieces developed over the past three days or a work they are composing outside of our workshop sessions.
Either way, they would love to hear your feedback on their writing. Please take a few moments to read and comment on any of their works.
